VEXTEC was founded in 2000 by Loren Nasser, Bob Tryon & Animesh Dey. Both Loren & Bob are graduates of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana. Both Bob & Animesh earned doctoral degrees at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. VEXTEC Laboratory Group was formed in 2008 when the building was constructed adjacent to the Terre Haute International Airport. In addition to the on site personnel, engineers located in Indianapolis, Indiana and Nashville, Tennessee also support testing activity when needed. Metallurgical failure analysis is performed at the facilty, as well as gas turbine testing.
